Background Information about the Directorate
The directorate, campus beautification and recreational service Directorate was establish in December 2021(2013E.C). Before aforementioned date it was along with the Directorate of General university service. The office consists of four main tasks which are landscape and gardening, waste water treatment, campus cleaning and green development, producing different economically important seedlings. Moreover the directorate has permanent employee of 444 and 695 daily laborers as well.
Nowadays under the directorate carried out several tasks to make suitable, pleasant and green working environment to achieve vision of the Woliata Sodo University, for conducting efficient teaching and learning process, researching and community service and it will continued in better performance .
Vision: Aspires to be technologically driven center of Agriculture and medical excellence by 2022.
Mission: We are dedicated to provide supporting quality service in order to realize effective learning and teaching processes, research and community service.
Carried out planting different plants such as mangoes, avocado, papaya and other multipurpose trees.

Goals
ü Creating pleasant campus , providing creational service to realized vision and mission of the university
Duties and responsibility:
ü Preparing long term & short term plan and perform
ü Planting economically important and ornamental plants
ü Produced fruits seedlings which will be inputs for agro processing and assuring food& nutrition security
ü Adopting and applying affordable technology
ü Deliver quality services for customers
ü Cleaning class rooms, offices and dormitories
ü Carried out landscape design in the campus
ü Performing all tasks with commitments , efficient way and cost effective
ü Fulfilling inputs and use it in efficient manner
ü Provide and sending reports for respective office and top management as well
ü Strengthen cooperation and coordination with partners
ü Monitoring , evaluation and giving feedback for the activities conducting in the campus
